What this one is
A cover built around the certificate
The certificate is printed first, so the holder is made to that trim size rather than to a nominal A4. The cover is cut and creased, the corner mounts or insert pocket are set to hold the sheet without marking it, and the face is printed or foiled with your mark. Where certificates are handed over at an event, the covers can be supplied plain and the certificate slipped in on the day.
- Trim size to your sheet — A4, Letter, or cut to the certificate you already print.
- Mounting choice — Corner mounts, ribbon corners, an insert pocket or a fixed board.
- Cover finish — Print, foil stamping, blind debossing — or a plain unprinted cover.
- Presentation ready — Supplied flat in bulk, or assembled with the certificate inserted.
Where it gets used
Who orders certificate covers
Training providers and awarding bodies issue certificates to candidates. Laboratories, clinics and testing houses present a certificate with the report. Companies use covers for long-service and award presentations, and distributors buy them to sit alongside a printed certificate as one item. The holder is judged the moment it is opened, so the mounting and the crease decide whether the certificate stays flat.
What we can change for you
Made to the size your certificate prints at
This item is not picked off a shelf. Every part of it is specified before it is made, and these are the parts buyers change most often on a certificate holders programme. Send whatever you have — a drawing, a photo of a sample you like, or a rough sketch — and we quote against it.
- Trim size — A4, Letter or a size cut to your own certificate — portrait or landscape.
- Construction — Single card cover, folded cover, holder with corner mounts, or a pocket folder.
- Material — Coated paper over board, PVC, PU leather or laminated card, in the caliper the cover needs.
- Cover finish — Offset or screen print, foil stamping, spot UV and matt or gloss lamination.
- Mounting — Corner slits, ribbon corners, an insert pocket or a full board, cut to your sheet size.
- Packing — Flat-packed in bulk, or assembled with the certificate inserted before shipment.
Anything not on this list is a question rather than a no. We work from your artwork or a rough sketch, and cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house — so a change costs you a conversation, not a new supplier.
How your order is made
Cutting, creasing and mounting on our own line
A cover fails at the crease or at the mounting. We crease the board across the grain of the sheet and cut the mounts to the actual certificate trim size, so the cover opens flat and the certificate does not ripple after it has been inserted.
- Tooling and dies — cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house, so a change to the shape is a conversation rather than a new supplier.
- Printing and finishing — offset and screen printing, foil stamping, blind debossing, spot UV and edge painting all run on site.
- In-line QC — checks at cutting, stitching and packing, not only at the end. You get the inspection photos before the cartons close.
- Export and documentation — cartons, pallets, labelling and shipping documents prepared to your forwarder specification. 94.8% of what we make is exported.

How to order
From spec to shipment in four steps
Most buyers have a sketch, a sample, or a brief. We turn it into a confirmed sample and then into a repeatable production run.
Product type, dimensions, quantity, logo, and deadline — even a photo is enough.
Unit price, tooling, sample cost, and lead time — usually within one working day.
We make a physical sample for your review before anything goes to bulk.
In-line QC, pre-shipment photos, then packed and shipped to your forwarder.

Working with us
Files, tooling and terms
The same terms apply to this item and to the rest of your order, so the budget and the schedule can be planned before anything is committed.
- Artwork — Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) are what embossing, foil and screen print need. A photo, a sketch or a physical sample is enough to start — we tell you before anything is charged if a file has to be rebuilt.
- Tooling — Charged only when the item needs a new mould, die or deboss plate. It is quoted separately and stated upfront — never added later.
- Samples — A stock sample is free (you cover the courier). A customised sample is chargeable and the cost is credited against the production order once it is confirmed.
- Payment — Invoiced in US dollars from our company account. Standard terms are T/T — 30% deposit, 70% before shipment — or an L/C at sight for container orders.
- Shipping — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF, and DDP to Europe and North America. DDP includes duties and final-mile delivery.
- Mixed containers — Several categories can ship in one container, which is how buyers keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment.
- Confidentiality — We sign an NDA before you send drawings.
- Documents — One inspection report and one set of documents cover the whole order, whatever the mix of items.
Buyer questions
Can you make the cover to our own certificate size?
Yes. Send the printed certificate or its exact trim size and the cover is cut to that, rather than rounded up or down to A4.
How is the certificate held inside?
Corner mounts, ribbon corners, an insert pocket or a fixed board. The choice depends on whether the certificate is inserted once or replaced, and we recommend one from the way it is presented.
Can we supply the certificates and have them inserted?
Yes. Certificates printed by you can be sent to us and the covers assembled around them before shipment, so the order arrives ready to hand over.
Which finishes suit a certificate cover?
Foil stamping and blind debossing give the sharpest result on paper-wrap and PU; screen print suits larger solid areas. On a matt laminated cover we test the foil before the run.
Can the cover carry a logo and the programme name?
Yes. Both can go on the face in print or foil, and the reverse can carry an address and contact block if the programme needs one.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums are set per item and depend on material, tooling and finish. The figure above is the starting point for this item; the exact minimum is confirmed with your quote.
