What this one is
Pen in recycled and renewable materials
The body is made from an eco-friendly material — a recycled or plant-based stock rather than virgin plastic — so the pen supports a sustainability message rather than contradicting it. That matters most where the pen accompanies a report, a launch or a policy that is about environmental performance; a plastic pen in that context undermines the message. The barrel takes a printed logo and the refill is replaceable so the pen stays in use. Material, barrel colour and print method are confirmed against the claim you intend to make.
- Eco-friendly body — Recovered or renewable material rather than virgin plastic.
- Supports the message — A plastic pen would undermine a sustainability programme.
- Replaceable refill — The pen stays in use rather than being discarded.
- Claims confirmed — Material and wording verified against what you can state.
Where it gets used
Who orders eco pens
Organisations issuing a sustainability report or a climate policy use them so the giveaway matches the message. Events and conferences with an environmental theme use them. Universities and public bodies use them where procurement policy favours recovered materials. The material is the reason for the purchase, and the wording on it has to be defensible.
What we can change for you
Made for the hand that holds it
This item is not picked off a shelf. Every part of it is specified before it is made, and these are the parts buyers change most often on a custom pens programme. Send whatever you have — a drawing, a photo of a sample you like, or a rough sketch — and we quote against it.
- Body — Metal, aluminium, brass, bamboo or recycled plastic, in a twist, click or capped format.
- Refill — Standard cross or Parker-style refill, with blue, black or gel ink.
- Finish — Anodised, powder coat, chrome trim, matte, gloss, rose gold or gunmetal.
- Branding — Laser engraving, pad print, silk screen, etched logo, or a debossed sleeve.
- Packaging — Individual sleeve, gift box, PVC pouch or a combined desk-set box.
- Weight and balance — Body diameter and centre of gravity tuned for the way the pen is held.
Anything not on this list is a question rather than a no. We work from your artwork or a rough sketch, and cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house — so a change costs you a conversation, not a new supplier.
How your order is made
Tooling, printing and binding on our own line
A pen is judged in the hand, so body weight, diameter and trim are specified together. Engraving is done on our own line, which keeps a run and its reorder identical.
- Tooling and dies — cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house, so a change to the shape is a conversation rather than a new supplier.
- Printing and finishing — offset and screen printing, foil stamping, blind debossing, spot UV and edge painting all run on site.
- In-line QC — checks at cutting, stitching and packing, not only at the end. You get the inspection photos before the cartons close.
- Export and documentation — cartons, pallets, labelling and shipping documents prepared to your forwarder specification. 94.8% of what we make is exported.

How to order
From spec to shipment in four steps
Most buyers have a sketch, a sample, or a brief. We turn it into a confirmed sample and then into a repeatable production run.
Product type, dimensions, quantity, logo, and deadline — even a photo is enough.
Unit price, tooling, sample cost, and lead time — usually within one working day.
We make a physical sample for your review before anything goes to bulk.
In-line QC, pre-shipment photos, then packed and shipped to your forwarder.

Working with us
Files, tooling and terms
The same terms apply to this item and to the rest of your order, so the budget and the schedule can be planned before anything is committed.
- Artwork — Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) are what embossing, foil and screen print need. A photo, a sketch or a physical sample is enough to start — we tell you before anything is charged if a file has to be rebuilt.
- Tooling — Charged only when the item needs a new mould, die or deboss plate. It is quoted separately and stated upfront — never added later.
- Samples — A stock sample is free (you cover the courier). A customised sample is chargeable and the cost is credited against the production order once it is confirmed.
- Payment — Invoiced in US dollars from our company account. Standard terms are T/T — 30% deposit, 70% before shipment — or an L/C at sight for container orders.
- Shipping — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF, and DDP to Europe and North America. DDP includes duties and final-mile delivery.
- Mixed containers — Several categories can ship in one container, which is how buyers keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment.
- Confidentiality — We sign an NDA before you send drawings.
- Documents — One inspection report and one set of documents cover the whole order, whatever the mix of items.
Buyer questions
What material is the body made from?
An eco-friendly stock rather than virgin plastic. Tell us the claim you intend to make and we confirm which material supports it.
Can we state a recycled content figure?
Only where the material supports it. We confirm the figure before you print anything.
Is the refill replaceable?
Yes, so the pen stays in use rather than being thrown away.
Which branding method will not rub off?
Laser engraving removes material rather than adding it, so there is nothing to rub off — it is what we recommend for a pen that will be used daily. Pad print suits full-colour marks but sits on the surface.
Can the refill be a standard one our client can replace?
Yes. We fit standard cross or Parker-style refills so the pen stays usable, which matters for a gift that is meant to be kept.
How do you keep the weight feeling right?
Body diameter and the position of the metal trim set the balance. Tell us whether it is a desk pen or a pocket pen and we will adjust the specification.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums are set per item; low unit-price accessories carry a higher minimum than leather programmes. The exact figure is confirmed with your quote.
Can pens be packed inside a notebook or gift set?
Yes. Pen loops and fitted inserts for sets are routine, and the pen is held so it cannot mark the cover in transit.
