A sample can look right on a table and still leave questions unanswered. These are twelve questions about previous experience, grouped by the construction that makes each one specific.
Every question starts with “Have you seen…” and ends with “Was it resolved?” The first answer shows whether the issue is familiar. The second shows whether the previous project closed it or left it open.
The matching product pages let you mark each question as Seen — resolved, Seen — unresolved or Not seen. The product risk cards can also carry photographs of a visible example so the issue is easier to recognise.
Portfolio / A4 + A5 writing board
A4/A5 Writing Board PU Portfolio
For a portfolio with two writing surfaces and interior fittings, the useful questions are about fit, wear at the working edges, branding, and how the boards behave after storage or travel.
- A4/A5 and writing-board fit
Have you seen A4 or A5 sheets, a notepad or a pen feel too tight, sit crooked or catch in a previous writing-board portfolio? Was it resolved?
- Fold and edge wear
Have you seen a PU portfolio crack, peel or flake along the fold or edge after regular use? Was it resolved?
- Branding and edge-finish wear
Have you seen a logo, deboss, print or edge finish blur, lift or wear first at the fold, edge or opening points? Was it resolved?
- Board stability
Have you seen the cover or writing board warp, bow or feel uneven after storage or travel? Was it resolved?
Printed PVC / 2-ring binder
Printed PVC 2-Ring Binder Folder
For a printed two-ring binder, the questions move through the cover and spine print, the page load, the spine fold, and the punched pages themselves.
- Print scuff and legibility
Have you seen print on a binder cover or spine scuff, become shiny or lose legibility after repeated handling? Was it resolved?
- Ring, page load and spine strain
Have you seen the rings stop closing evenly, pages snag, or the spine bow after a binder was filled? Was it resolved?
- Print lift at hinge and edges
Have you seen a printed surface lift, flake or crack at the spine fold or cover edge? Was it resolved?
- Punched-page compatibility
Have you seen pages catch, bind or tear at the holes when the binder was turned? Was it resolved?
Zipper / 4-ring binder
A4 Multifunctional Zipper Binder
For a zipped four-ring workspace, the questions are about the case when tools, documents and the ring mechanism are used together, then carried as one loaded object.
- Real-device fit and working bulk
Have you seen a tablet, calculator, phone or pen layout make a zipper binder bulge, press the pages or stop closing smoothly? Was it resolved?
- Zip strain and separation
Have you seen a zipper binder come open, separate at the teeth or lose its pull when carried full? Was it resolved?
- Ring/page fit inside a zipped case
Have you seen pages catch, tear at the holes or sit unevenly on the four rings in normal use? Was it resolved?
- Zip seam and fitting failure
Have you seen the zip seam, binding, pen pocket or nearby fitting start to pull away? Was it resolved?
Use the product pages as a record of experience. Mark what you have seen, and whether it was resolved. If a question needs context, open a private discussion rather than publishing project files or contact details.
