Cheque Book Holders
Compact PU Cheque Book Holder
A compact PU cheque book holder sized to a single cheque book rather than a full document folder. The smaller format is the specification: it fits a jacket pocket or a handbag, which is where a cheque book actually gets carried.

What this one is
Compact cheque book holder
The holder is cut to the dimensions of a standard cheque book, with an inner slot that keeps the book in place and a flap or magnet that stops it opening in a pocket. A card slot or two sits alongside for a bank card or a receipt. Because the format is compact, the holder is carried rather than left in a drawer, which is why it is specified for anyone who writes cheques away from a desk. PU colour, closure type and logo method are specified to order.
- Cut to a cheque book — Sized to the book rather than a general document folder.
- Pocket format — Fits a jacket pocket or handbag, so it gets carried.
- Closure that holds — Flap or magnet stops the book opening in a pocket.
- Card slot alongside — Room for a bank card or a receipt.
Where it gets used
Who buys compact cheque book holders
Accountants, solicitors and estate agents write cheques away from a desk and need the book with them. Older retail and trade customers still use cheque books at the counter. Banks and financial institutions use them as a branded customer item. The compact format is the reason for the purchase rather than a larger folder.
What we can change for you
Cut to the book your bank issues
This item is not picked off a shelf. Every part of it is specified before it is made, and these are the parts buyers change most often on a cheque book holders programme. Send whatever you have — a drawing, a photo of a sample you like, or a rough sketch — and we quote against it.
- Format — Single cheque book, cover with a stubs pocket, or a combined cheque and card wallet.
- Material — PU leather, bonded leather or coated board, with the gauge you specify.
- Interior — Cheque slot, stubs pocket, card slots, pen loop, ID window or a deposit-slip pocket.
- Closure — Magnetic flap, elastic band, press stud or a ribbon tie.
- Branding — Foil stamping, blind debossing, screen print, edge painting or an embossed crest.
- Packing — Poly bag, retail box, printed sleeve or carton only.
Anything not on this list is a question rather than a no. We work from your artwork or a rough sketch, and cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house — so a change costs you a conversation, not a new supplier.
How your order is made
Tooling, printing and binding on our own line
A holder is judged by how the cheque book sits inside it, so the slot depth is cut to the book format the bank issues rather than to a nominal size.
- Tooling and dies — cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house, so a change to the shape is a conversation rather than a new supplier.
- Printing and finishing — offset and screen printing, foil stamping, blind debossing, spot UV and edge painting all run on site.
- In-line QC — checks at cutting, stitching and packing, not only at the end. You get the inspection photos before the cartons close.
- Export and documentation — cartons, pallets, labelling and shipping documents prepared to your forwarder specification. 94.8% of what we make is exported.

How to order
From spec to shipment in four steps
Most buyers have a sketch, a sample, or a brief. We turn it into a confirmed sample and then into a repeatable production run.
Product type, dimensions, quantity, logo, and deadline — even a photo is enough.
Unit price, tooling, sample cost, and lead time — usually within one working day.
We make a physical sample for your review before anything goes to bulk.
In-line QC, pre-shipment photos, then packed and shipped to your forwarder.

Working with us
Files, tooling and terms
The same terms apply to this item and to the rest of your order, so the budget and the schedule can be planned before anything is committed.
- Artwork — Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) are what embossing, foil and screen print need. A photo, a sketch or a physical sample is enough to start — we tell you before anything is charged if a file has to be rebuilt.
- Tooling — Charged only when the item needs a new mould, die or deboss plate. It is quoted separately and stated upfront — never added later.
- Samples — A stock sample is free (you cover the courier). A customised sample is chargeable and the cost is credited against the production order once it is confirmed.
- Payment — Invoiced in US dollars from our company account. Standard terms are T/T — 30% deposit, 70% before shipment — or an L/C at sight for container orders.
- Shipping — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF, and DDP to Europe and North America. DDP includes duties and final-mile delivery.
- Mixed containers — Several categories can ship in one container, which is how buyers keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment.
- Confidentiality — We sign an NDA before you send drawings.
- Documents — One inspection report and one set of documents cover the whole order, whatever the mix of items.
Buyer questions
Will it fit our cheque book size?
Tell us the book dimensions and we cut the holder to them.
Does it hold the book securely?
An inner slot holds the book and the closure keeps it from opening in a pocket.
Can it carry a pen?
A pen loop can be added. Tell us the pen diameter if you need one.
Will a standard cheque book fit?
Tell us the cheque format your bank issues, or send one book, and we cut the slot and the stubs pocket to it. Cheque formats differ by market, and the slot is the whole product.
Which logo method suits a leather holder?
Blind debossing and foil both work well and both survive daily handling. On a thin cover we reduce the depth so the mark does not show through to the inside face.
Can it double as a card or passport wallet?
Yes. Combined cheque, card and passport wallets are routine, and the interior layout is set at the sampling stage.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums are set per item and depend on material, tooling and finishing. The figure above is the starting point; the exact minimum is confirmed with your quote.
Can it be branded for a corporate gifting programme?
Yes, with individual gift boxes and a printed card if the pieces are being handed out rather than shipped in bulk.
