Menu Covers
Tri-Fold Menu Folder, Red
A tri-fold menu folder in red, opening to three panels so a menu can be presented as a spread rather than a list. The three-panel format gives a cover, an inner spread and a back panel that can carry a different message without crowding the menu itself.

What this one is
Three-panel menu folder
Three panels means the menu is not confined to a single sheet: a cover leads in, the inner spread carries the dishes and the back panel can hold a set menu, a wine note or a seasonal insert. Because it folds rather than binds, nothing has to be replaced when the menu changes — a new printed insert is dropped into the pockets and the folder stays in service. The red finish is the stock colour, and other colours are matched to order. Pocket size and insert format are specified to your menu layout.
- Three panels — Cover, inner spread and back panel without crowding the menu.
- Insert-based — New printed inserts dropped in when the menu changes; the folder stays.
- Pockets to your format — Insert size specified to your menu layout.
- Colour to order — Red as stock, with other colours matched to your reference.
Where it gets used
Where tri-fold folders are used
Restaurants use them where the menu needs a cover, a spread and a section for set menus or drinks. Hotels use them for restaurant and room-service menus. Caterers use them for function and event menus that are reprinted per booking. The insert-based format is chosen where the content changes more often than the folder.
What we can change for you
Made for a life of handling and wiping
This item is not picked off a shelf. Every part of it is specified before it is made, and these are the parts buyers change most often on a menu covers programme. Send whatever you have — a drawing, a photo of a sample you like, or a rough sketch — and we quote against it.
- Format — Two-panel, tri-fold, four-panel, single sheet with a clip, or a wooden board with a clamp.
- Material — PU leather, bonded leather, coated board, fabric or wood, with the sheet gauge you specify.
- Pocket — Clear film pockets, fixed printed pages, corner mounts or a screw-post refill system.
- Closure and trim — Rivets, metal corners, elastic band, ribbon, edge paint or contrast stitching.
- Branding — Foil, debossing, screen print, metal badge or a riveted metal plate.
- Packing — Poly bag, retail carton, printed header or carton only.
Anything not on this list is a question rather than a no. We work from your artwork or a rough sketch, and cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house — so a change costs you a conversation, not a new supplier.
How your order is made
Tooling, printing and binding on our own line
Menu covers are handled every service and wiped often, so the corner and the edge are the wear points. Corners, edge paint and the pocket film are specified for that life rather than for the photograph.
- Tooling and dies — cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house, so a change to the shape is a conversation rather than a new supplier.
- Printing and finishing — offset and screen printing, foil stamping, blind debossing, spot UV and edge painting all run on site.
- In-line QC — checks at cutting, stitching and packing, not only at the end. You get the inspection photos before the cartons close.
- Export and documentation — cartons, pallets, labelling and shipping documents prepared to your forwarder specification. 94.8% of what we make is exported.

How to order
From spec to shipment in four steps
Most buyers have a sketch, a sample, or a brief. We turn it into a confirmed sample and then into a repeatable production run.
Product type, dimensions, quantity, logo, and deadline — even a photo is enough.
Unit price, tooling, sample cost, and lead time — usually within one working day.
We make a physical sample for your review before anything goes to bulk.
In-line QC, pre-shipment photos, then packed and shipped to your forwarder.

Working with us
Files, tooling and terms
The same terms apply to this item and to the rest of your order, so the budget and the schedule can be planned before anything is committed.
- Artwork — Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) are what embossing, foil and screen print need. A photo, a sketch or a physical sample is enough to start — we tell you before anything is charged if a file has to be rebuilt.
- Tooling — Charged only when the item needs a new mould, die or deboss plate. It is quoted separately and stated upfront — never added later.
- Samples — A stock sample is free (you cover the courier). A customised sample is chargeable and the cost is credited against the production order once it is confirmed.
- Payment — Invoiced in US dollars from our company account. Standard terms are T/T — 30% deposit, 70% before shipment — or an L/C at sight for container orders.
- Shipping — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF, and DDP to Europe and North America. DDP includes duties and final-mile delivery.
- Mixed containers — Several categories can ship in one container, which is how buyers keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment.
- Confidentiality — We sign an NDA before you send drawings.
- Documents — One inspection report and one set of documents cover the whole order, whatever the mix of items.
Buyer questions
Can the insert size be customised?
Yes. Pocket size is specified to your menu layout.
Is the folder wiped clean?
Yes. The cover surface is intended for wiping between services.
Are other colours available?
Yes. Red is the stock colour; others are matched to your reference.
How do I stop the corners wearing out?
The corner is the wear point on a menu cover because it is handled and wiped at every service. Metal corners, edge paint and a heavier board all extend the life, and we will tell you which one actually earns its cost.
Can the pages be replaced without replacing the cover?
Yes. Screw-post and ring formats let you reprint and refill the pages while keeping the covers, which is normally cheaper than replacing the whole book.
Can the cover be wiped clean?
A PU or coated cover is the practical choice for a food environment, and we will tell you where a cheaper material fails rather than just what it costs.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums are set per item and depend on material, tooling and finishing. The figure above is the starting point; the exact minimum is confirmed with your quote.
Do you make menu covers in A3 or a custom size?
Yes. A3, A4, A5 and Letter are routine, and a non-standard size is a cutting-die conversation.
