EVA Foam Gift Packaging
A custom flocked EVA foam insert for gift packaging, cut to the shape of the product it holds. EVA foam gives the insert a firm structure that holds a product in place, and the flocked surface gives it the soft touch of a fabric lining. It is the insert specified where a product has to arrive immovable inside a rigid box.

What this one is
Flocked EVA insert cut to your product
The insert is cut from EVA foam to the exact silhouette of the product, so the item sits in a fitted recess rather than resting on a flat pad. Because EVA is a closed-cell foam, it holds its shape under compression and does not collapse like a softer foam, which is what stops contents moving in transit. The flocked surface is applied on top so the product meets a soft fabric-like finish rather than bare foam. Insert depth, recess shape and flocking colour are all specified against the actual product.
- Cut to the product silhouette — Item sits in a fitted recess rather than on a flat pad.
- Closed-cell EVA — Holds its shape under compression, so contents cannot move.
- Flocked surface — Product meets a soft fabric-like finish, not bare foam.
- Depth and colour to spec — Recess depth and flocking colour set from the product.
Where it gets used
Who specifies a flocked EVA insert
Brands packaging electronics, cosmetics and small instruments use inserts where the product must not move inside the box. Gift programmes use them so a presentation box holds its contents in a fixed position. Retailers use them where a product is displayed in the box on a shelf. The insert is specified whenever the product has an irregular shape that a flat pad cannot hold.
What we can change for you
The box the product is judged in
This item is not picked off a shelf. Every part of it is specified before it is made, and these are the parts buyers change most often on a presentation packaging programme. Send whatever you have — a drawing, a photo of a sample you like, or a rough sketch — and we quote against it.
- Box type — Rigid lid-and-base, magnetic flip, drawer, book-style, sleeve-and-tray or a wooden case.
- Insert — EVA, suede, flocked, foam or moulded pulp, cut to the product, with removable trays as needed.
- Closure — Magnetic, cam lock, ribbon pull, metal corner or hinge.
- Wrap — Printed paper, PU, fabric, wood veneer, acrylic window or a soft-touch laminate.
- Branding — Foil, debossing, screen print, metal badge, printed inner lid or an engraved plate.
- Inner packing — PVC or paper inner bag, dust bag, tissue, sticker seal and carton labelling to your forwarder specification.
Anything not on this list is a question rather than a no. We work from your artwork or a rough sketch, and cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house — so a change costs you a conversation, not a new supplier.
How your order is made
Tooling, printing and binding on our own line
Rigid board is wrapped and the inserts are cut in-house. The inner bag is the last thing between the product and the carton, and we treat it as part of the presentation rather than as a line on the quotation.
- Tooling and dies — cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house, so a change to the shape is a conversation rather than a new supplier.
- Printing and finishing — offset and screen printing, foil stamping, blind debossing, spot UV and edge painting all run on site.
- In-line QC — checks at cutting, stitching and packing, not only at the end. You get the inspection photos before the cartons close.
- Export and documentation — cartons, pallets, labelling and shipping documents prepared to your forwarder specification. 94.8% of what we make is exported.

Working with us
Files, tooling and terms
The same terms apply to this item and to the rest of your order, so the budget and the schedule can be planned before anything is committed.
- Artwork — Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) are what embossing, foil and screen print need. A photo, a sketch or a physical sample is enough to start — we tell you before anything is charged if a file has to be rebuilt.
- Tooling — Charged only when the item needs a new mould, die or deboss plate. It is quoted separately and stated upfront — never added later.
- Samples — A stock sample is free (you cover the courier). A customised sample is chargeable and the cost is credited against the production order once it is confirmed.
- Payment — Invoiced in US dollars from our company account. Standard terms are T/T — 30% deposit, 70% before shipment — or an L/C at sight for container orders.
- Shipping — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF, and DDP to Europe and North America. DDP includes duties and final-mile delivery.
- Mixed containers — Several categories can ship in one container, which is how buyers keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment.
- Confidentiality — We sign an NDA before you send drawings.
- Documents — One inspection report and one set of documents cover the whole order, whatever the mix of items.
Buyer questions
How is the recess shaped?
It is cut to the silhouette of your product, not to a standard shape. Send a sample or dimensioned drawing.
Why EVA rather than a softer foam?
EVA is closed-cell, so it holds its shape under compression and keeps the product from moving in transit.
Can the flocking colour be matched?
Yes. Flocking colour is specified to order against your reference.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Most orders start from 500 pcs per design and colour; we confirm the exact minimum with your quote.
How long does sampling take?
Physical samples are produced in 7–10 days. You receive the actual material, stitching and finishing before production begins.
Which logo methods can be applied?
Foil stamping, blind debossing and screen printing. The debossing depth is adjusted to the material thickness so the impression stays sharp and does not crack along the fold.
How is the price calculated?
Price depends on quantity, material grade, interior layout, finishing and packaging. We quote per order rather than publishing a list price. Send your specification and we reply with unit cost and lead time, usually within one working day.
Can the design be customised?
Yes. Size, material, colour, interior layout, logo and packaging can all be specified. We manufacture to order (OEM/ODM) rather than supplying stock items.
