What this one is
Waterproof plastic cover
The cover is made from a waterproof plastic film rather than a coated paper or fabric, so it does not deteriorate when it gets wet and the contents stay dry. That makes it suitable for manuals used outdoors, in kitchens, in workshops or on site, where a paper cover would swell and fail within weeks. The film is cut and welded to the book dimensions, and the closure type is chosen against how often the book is opened. Film, closure and sizing are all specified to your application.

From spec to shipment in four steps
Most buyers have a sketch, a sample, or a brief. We turn it into a confirmed sample and then into a repeatable production run.

Files, tooling and terms
The same terms apply to this item and to the rest of your order, so the budget and the schedule can be planned before anything is committed.
- Artwork — Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) are what embossing, foil and screen print need. A photo, a sketch or a physical sample is enough to start — we tell you before anything is charged if a file has to be rebuilt.
- Tooling — Charged only when the item needs a new mould, die or deboss plate. It is quoted separately and stated upfront — never added later.
- Samples — A stock sample is free (you cover the courier). A customised sample is chargeable and the cost is credited against the production order once it is confirmed.
- Payment — Invoiced in US dollars from our company account. Standard terms are T/T — 30% deposit, 70% before shipment — or an L/C at sight for container orders.
- Shipping — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF, and DDP to Europe and North America. DDP includes duties and final-mile delivery.
- Mixed containers — Several categories can ship in one container, which is how buyers keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment.
- Confidentiality — We sign an NDA before you send drawings.
- Documents — One inspection report and one set of documents cover the whole order, whatever the mix of items.

Is the cover fully waterproof?
It is made from waterproof plastic film, so the cover itself does not deteriorate when wet and the contents stay dry. Tell us if you need a sealed rather than a folded closure.
Can it be printed?
Yes. A printed panel can be applied to the film.
What closure types are available?
Folded, welded or poppered, chosen against how often the book is opened.
What does the cover coating actually survive?
On a book the cover is the wear part and it has a harder life than most product surfaces. Tell us what the book will be handled with — hand cream, cleaning wipes, a school bag — and we will select the coating for that rather than for the catalogue photo.
How do you get the fit right?
We cut to the book height and the spine width with the fold allowance matched to the board thickness. Send one copy of the book and the fit stops being a guess.
Can the case be used with the device inside it?
Yes, where a touch-through face is specified. Tell us the model and we will cut the openings and choose the face film so the screen and the camera both still work.
Will a PVC cover mark the book over time?
Some films react with inks and coatings. Tell us what is printed on the cover we are covering and we will select a film that will not migrate.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums are set per item and depend on material, tooling and finishing. The figure above is the starting point; the exact minimum is confirmed with your quote.
Can covers be supplied in several sizes in one order?
Yes. Multiple trim sizes in one shipment are routine, and the quantity per size can be lower because they fill the same container.
