Ring Binders (Variety of Styles)
A binder programme covering the mechanisms, board weights and cover materials we build, so a buyer can pick one construction and apply it across several product lines. The point of the page is the range: the ring mechanism, the board, the covering and the finish are all separately specified. Send what the binder has to hold and we match the construction to it.

What this one is
One construction, several binder styles
Binders differ in three places: what holds the paper, what the cover is made from, and how the whole thing is finished. A light card cover with a paper wrap suits a short training handout; a rigid board with a PVC or PU cover suits a catalogue that gets used weekly. The ring mechanism follows the same logic: a small D-ring holds more sheets than an O-ring of the same diameter because the ring is straighter at the spine. Because the parts are specified separately, a buyer can standardise the mechanism across a range and vary only the cover, which keeps reorders predictable.
- Ring mechanism — 2-ring, 3-ring, O-ring or D-ring, in the diameter the paper load requires.
- Board and covering — Light card, rigid greyboard with paper wrap, PVC, PP or PU leather.
- Cover style — Printed cover, clear overlay pocket, fabric wrap or window cut-out.
- Finish and hardware — Lamination, foil, deboss, corner protectors, elastic closure, finger ring.
Where it gets used
Choosing between binder styles
The decision usually comes down to how often the binder is opened and how it is stored. Binders that sit on a shelf and are read occasionally take a lighter board and a printed paper wrap. Binders that are carried to meetings and opened daily take a rigid board and a wipe-clean cover. Binders used on site, where hands are not clean, take a PVC or PP cover. Once the use case is fixed, the mechanism and finish follow, and the specification stays stable for reorders.

What we can change for you
Made for the load it has to carry
This item is not picked off a shelf. Every part of it is specified before it is made, and these are the parts buyers change most often on a filing bags & document cases programme. Send whatever you have — a drawing, a photo of a sample you like, or a rough sketch — and we quote against it.
- Format — Zippered pouch, expanding wallet, ring binder, lever arch file, fireproof document bag or a handle-top case.
- Material — PVC, vinyl, Oxford fabric, nylon or PU — clear, frosted, tinted or opaque.
- Seams — Welded or stitched. Welding suits clear sheet and liquid resistance; stitching suits fabric and heavy loads.
- Interior — Dividers, expanding pockets, zip pockets, card slots, pen loop, business card window.
- Branding — Screen print, foil stamping, woven label, printed carry handle or a debossed logo plate.
- Carrying — Handle, shoulder strap, trolley sleeve or flat pack for courier dispatch.
Anything not on this list is a question rather than a no. We work from your artwork or a rough sketch, and cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house — so a change costs you a conversation, not a new supplier.
How your order is made
Tooling, printing and binding on our own line
Clear sheet is cut and welded on our own high-frequency line, so a welded pouch and a stitched fabric case can come out of the same programme. Fireproof and waterproof claims are only made where the material actually supports them.
- Tooling and dies — cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house, so a change to the shape is a conversation rather than a new supplier.
- Printing and finishing — offset and screen printing, foil stamping, blind debossing, spot UV and edge painting all run on site.
- In-line QC — checks at cutting, stitching and packing, not only at the end. You get the inspection photos before the cartons close.
- Export and documentation — cartons, pallets, labelling and shipping documents prepared to your forwarder specification. 94.8% of what we make is exported.

How to order
From spec to shipment in four steps
Most buyers have a sketch, a sample, or a brief. We turn it into a confirmed sample and then into a repeatable production run.
Product type, dimensions, quantity, logo, and deadline — even a photo is enough.
Unit price, tooling, sample cost, and lead time — usually within one working day.
We make a physical sample for your review before anything goes to bulk.
In-line QC, pre-shipment photos, then packed and shipped to your forwarder.

Working with us
Files, tooling and terms
The same terms apply to this item and to the rest of your order, so the budget and the schedule can be planned before anything is committed.
- Artwork — Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) are what embossing, foil and screen print need. A photo, a sketch or a physical sample is enough to start — we tell you before anything is charged if a file has to be rebuilt.
- Tooling — Charged only when the item needs a new mould, die or deboss plate. It is quoted separately and stated upfront — never added later.
- Samples — A stock sample is free (you cover the courier). A customised sample is chargeable and the cost is credited against the production order once it is confirmed.
- Payment — Invoiced in US dollars from our company account. Standard terms are T/T — 30% deposit, 70% before shipment — or an L/C at sight for container orders.
- Shipping — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF, and DDP to Europe and North America. DDP includes duties and final-mile delivery.
- Mixed containers — Several categories can ship in one container, which is how buyers keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment.
- Confidentiality — We sign an NDA before you send drawings.
- Documents — One inspection report and one set of documents cover the whole order, whatever the mix of items.
Buyer questions
Which ring mechanism holds the most paper?
A D-ring holds more sheets than an O-ring of the same diameter, because the ring runs straighter at the spine. Tell us the sheet count and we size the ring.
Can we standardise one mechanism across a range?
Yes. That is the usual approach: fix the mechanism and vary only the cover, so reorders stay predictable.
Which cover suits a binder that is carried daily?
A rigid board with a PVC, PP or PU cover. A lighter printed paper wrap suits a binder that is stored and read occasionally.
Can I order several styles in one shipment?
Yes. Mixed containers with several binder styles are standard for our programmes.
Do all styles share the same MOQ?
MOQ is set per style and depends on material, rings and finish. We quote each style separately.
Can the ring mechanism vary by style?
Yes. D-ring, O-ring and slant-D can each be matched to the binder style.
Welded or stitched — which should I choose?
Welding gives a liquid-resistant, seamless clear pouch and is what we use on PVC and EVA. Stitching carries fabric and heavier loads. Tell us how the bag will be used and we will pick, not guess.
What does "fireproof" actually mean on your document bag?
It describes the material and construction we supply, and we will only put it in writing for the grade we ship. Ask us for the material certificate on the specific grade before you commit.
Can a bag be made in a size that is not standard?
Yes. A4, A5, Letter and Legal are routine; anything outside those is a cutting-die conversation rather than a new supplier.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums are set per item and depend on material, seam type and tooling. The figure above is the starting point; the exact minimum is confirmed with your quote.
Can these ship in the same container as our other categories?
Yes — that is the main reason buyers work with us. Mixed containers let you keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment, with one inspection report and one set of documents for the whole order.
