Custom Photo Album with Wooden Frame
A custom photo album with a wooden frame set into the cover, so a photograph can be displayed on the front of the album rather than inside it. The frame is the specification: it turns the album into an object that can be left out rather than stored.

What this one is
Photo album with a cover frame
A wooden frame is set into the front cover with a recess sized to hold a print, so the album can carry a photograph on the outside as well as the pages inside. That makes it usable as a display object — on a shelf, a table or as a guest book at an event — where a plain album would be put away. Inside, the pages are mounted to hold prints, with the capacity specified to the number of photographs. Frame size, page capacity and wood finish are specified to order.
- Cover frame — A print displayed on the front of the album, not only inside.
- Display object — Can be left out on a shelf or table rather than stored.
- Mounting inside — Pages built to hold prints securely.
- Frame and capacity to spec — Frame size, page count and wood finish specified.
Where it gets used
Who orders framed photo albums
Wedding and event businesses use them as guest books and as the album the couple keeps on display. Hotels use them for a framed property photograph in suites. Companies use them for retirement and anniversary gifts. The cover frame is the reason for choosing this album over a plain one.
What we can change for you
Chosen for photographic prints
This item is not picked off a shelf. Every part of it is specified before it is made, and these are the parts buyers change most often on a photo albums programme. Send whatever you have — a drawing, a photo of a sample you like, or a rough sketch — and we quote against it.
- Format — Case-bound album, ring binder, slip-in pocket album, or a boxed set with a frame.
- Page system — Slip-in pockets, self-adhesive leaves, or printed pages with corner mounts.
- Cover — Board, PU leather, cloth, wood or acrylic, with foiling or a die-cut window.
- Page protection — Pocket film selected so it does not react with photographic prints.
- Branding — Foil, debossing, screen print, engraved plate or a printed inner lid.
- Packing — Individual box, slipcase, dust bag or carton only.
Anything not on this list is a question rather than a no. We work from your artwork or a rough sketch, and cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house — so a change costs you a conversation, not a new supplier.
How your order is made
Tooling, printing and binding on our own line
Photographs are the most sensitive thing we pack, so the pocket film is chosen for photographic prints rather than for the cheapest clear sheet available. Then it is cut and welded on our own line.
- Tooling and dies — cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house, so a change to the shape is a conversation rather than a new supplier.
- Printing and finishing — offset and screen printing, foil stamping, blind debossing, spot UV and edge painting all run on site.
- In-line QC — checks at cutting, stitching and packing, not only at the end. You get the inspection photos before the cartons close.
- Export and documentation — cartons, pallets, labelling and shipping documents prepared to your forwarder specification. 94.8% of what we make is exported.

How to order
From spec to shipment in four steps
Most buyers have a sketch, a sample, or a brief. We turn it into a confirmed sample and then into a repeatable production run.
Product type, dimensions, quantity, logo, and deadline — even a photo is enough.
Unit price, tooling, sample cost, and lead time — usually within one working day.
We make a physical sample for your review before anything goes to bulk.
In-line QC, pre-shipment photos, then packed and shipped to your forwarder.

Working with us
Files, tooling and terms
The same terms apply to this item and to the rest of your order, so the budget and the schedule can be planned before anything is committed.
- Artwork — Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) are what embossing, foil and screen print need. A photo, a sketch or a physical sample is enough to start — we tell you before anything is charged if a file has to be rebuilt.
- Tooling — Charged only when the item needs a new mould, die or deboss plate. It is quoted separately and stated upfront — never added later.
- Samples — A stock sample is free (you cover the courier). A customised sample is chargeable and the cost is credited against the production order once it is confirmed.
- Payment — Invoiced in US dollars from our company account. Standard terms are T/T — 30% deposit, 70% before shipment — or an L/C at sight for container orders.
- Shipping — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF, and DDP to Europe and North America. DDP includes duties and final-mile delivery.
- Mixed containers — Several categories can ship in one container, which is how buyers keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment.
- Confidentiality — We sign an NDA before you send drawings.
- Documents — One inspection report and one set of documents cover the whole order, whatever the mix of items.
Buyer questions
What print size does the frame take?
Frame size is specified to order. Tell us the print size you intend to use.
How many photographs does the album hold?
Page capacity is specified to the number of prints. Tell us the count and we size the album.
What wood finishes are available?
Wood finish is specified to order, matched to your reference.
Will the pockets damage my photographs?
A photograph in the wrong sleeve does not look damaged until it is taken out years later — the plastic has reacted with the print rather than scratched it. Tell us the print type and we will select a film that will not migrate.
Can the album hold different print sizes?
Yes. Mixed pocket sizes across the leaves are routine; send the print sizes and we will lay them out.
Can pages be added later?
Yes in a ring or post-bound format. A case-bound album is fixed at binding.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums are set per item and depend on material, binding and pocket layout. The figure above is the starting point; the exact minimum is confirmed with your quote.
Can it be supplied as a gift set with a frame?
Yes. Boxed album-and-frame sets are routine, and the insert is cut so neither piece moves in transit.
