A4 Wireless Charging Power Portfolio
An A4 portfolio with a built-in wireless charging pad and a battery, so a phone charges while the folder is open on a desk. The charging module sits in the cover, wired to a power bank concealed inside, and the folder otherwise works as a normal document folio with a pad and pockets.
- Wireless charging coil
- Built-in battery
- Wired output
- Standard folio interior

What this one is
Portfolio with built-in wireless charging
The wireless pad is set into the cover at phone size, with the electronics and battery held in a pocket behind it so the folder still closes flat. A USB port is exposed for charging the battery itself and for wired charging a second device. The rest of the interior follows the standard A4 folio layout: pad on a clip, document pocket and card slots. Output rating, battery capacity and whether the coil supports fast charging are the three specifications buyers ask about first, and all three are quoted against the target phone set.
- Wireless charging coil — Set into the cover at phone size, with electronics behind it in a concealed pocket.
- Built-in battery — Capacity quoted against the number of phone charges required.
- Wired output — Exposed USB port for charging a second device or the battery itself.
- Standard folio interior — Pad on clip, document pocket and card slots as usual.
Where it gets used
Who orders charging portfolios
Telecoms and technology companies use them as executive gifts where the charging function is on-brand. Banks and consultancies use them for senior client gifts. Conference organisers use them as speaker gifts. The charging function is what lifts the item out of the ordinary portfolio category, and it is the reason the electronics specification has to be settled before anything else is designed.
What we can change for you
Made to your drawing, not to our catalogue
This item is not picked off a shelf. Every part of it is specified before it is made, and these are the parts buyers change most often on a portfolios & document cases programme. Send whatever you have — a drawing, a photo of a sample you like, or a rough sketch — and we quote against it.
- Outer size and orientation — A4, A5, Letter or Legal, portrait or landscape, or a size cut to your drawing.
- Cover material and caliper — PU leather, bonded leather or linen, with the board caliper you specify.
- Charging module — Wireless charging pad or an integrated power bank, with the output and connector you specify.
- Interior layout — Device pocket, cable channel, notepad, card slots and a pen loop arranged around the module.
- Branding — Foil stamping, blind debossing, screen print or an indicator window with your mark.
- Packing and compliance — Retail box with the battery documentation your market requires, plus the markings for shipping.
Anything not on this list is a question rather than a no. We work from your artwork or a rough sketch, and cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house — so a change costs you a conversation, not a new supplier.
How your order is made
Tooling, printing and binding on our own line
Covers are cut and wrapped in our own workshop, and the zips, magnets or ring mechanisms are fitted on the same line. That is why the sampling date we give you is one we can hold.
- Tooling and dies — cutting dies and covers are engineered in-house, so a change to the shape is a conversation rather than a new supplier.
- Printing and finishing — offset and screen printing, foil stamping, blind debossing, spot UV and edge painting all run on site.
- In-line QC — checks at cutting, stitching and packing, not only at the end. You get the inspection photos before the cartons close.
- Export and documentation — cartons, pallets, labelling and shipping documents prepared to your forwarder specification. 94.8% of what we make is exported.

How to order
From spec to shipment in four steps
Most buyers have a sketch, a sample, or a brief. We turn it into a confirmed sample and then into a repeatable production run.
Product type, dimensions, quantity, logo, and deadline — even a photo is enough.
Unit price, tooling, sample cost, and lead time — usually within one working day.
We make a physical sample for your review before anything goes to bulk.
In-line QC, pre-shipment photos, then packed and shipped to your forwarder.

Working with us
Files, tooling and terms
The same terms apply to this item and to the rest of your order, so the budget and the schedule can be planned before anything is committed.
- Artwork — Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) are what embossing, foil and screen print need. A photo, a sketch or a physical sample is enough to start — we tell you before anything is charged if a file has to be rebuilt.
- Tooling — Charged only when the item needs a new mould, die or deboss plate. It is quoted separately and stated upfront — never added later.
- Samples — A stock sample is free (you cover the courier). A customised sample is chargeable and the cost is credited against the production order once it is confirmed.
- Payment — Invoiced in US dollars from our company account. Standard terms are T/T — 30% deposit, 70% before shipment — or an L/C at sight for container orders.
- Shipping — FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF, and DDP to Europe and North America. DDP includes duties and final-mile delivery.
- Mixed containers — Several categories can ship in one container, which is how buyers keep the quantity per item down while still filling a shipment.
- Confidentiality — We sign an NDA before you send drawings.
- Documents — One inspection report and one set of documents cover the whole order, whatever the mix of items.
Buyer questions
What battery capacity do you offer?
Several capacities are available. Tell us how many phone charges the buyer expects and we size the battery to it.
Does the coil support fast charging?
Fast charging support depends on the module chosen. Confirm the target phone models and we specify accordingly.
Can the electronics be serviced or replaced?
The module sits in a pocket in the cover so it can be accessed. We confirm serviceability for the design you choose.
Can you work from a sample or a photo instead of a drawing?
Yes. A photo of a competitor’s sample, a physical sample or a rough sketch is enough to start. We return a written specification for approval before any tooling is cut.
Which logo methods can be used on the cover?
Foil stamping, blind debossing, screen print, spot UV or a metal badge. On PU we adjust the debossing depth to the sheet thickness so the impression stays sharp and does not crack along the fold.
Can we test the charging module before the full run?
Yes. The sample is made with the production module, not a placeholder, so the fit and the output are both verified before tooling is committed.
How is the power module handled for shipping?
A portfolio with a battery is not the same shipment as a portfolio without one. Tell us the destination market and we will confirm the documentation and the markings the battery needs before we quote.
Will a reorder match the first run?
We hold the approved specification on file — material, caliper, lining, foil colour, stitch and packing — and manufacture repeat orders against it instead of starting over.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums are set per item and depend on material, tooling and finish. This item starts from 300 pcs; the exact minimum is confirmed with your quote.
How do you stop the cover from cracking at the spine?
Board caliper and hinge allowance are specified together, not separately. On padded covers we add a hinge allowance at the fold, which is where most portfolios fail first.
